Lunchtime. Dad asked ‹ as is his routine ‹ how my morning went. Then he successively asked about my day, life, and ‘forever after’. I answered rather shortly for some reason; I didn’t expect him to inquire so far, yet I do appreciate that he cares enough to ask. It’s thought-provoking, and a good three-pronged question to ask myself periodically. How is my day going? How is my life looking? How is my ‘forever after’ shaping up?
