iTunes Music Store

Well, this iTunes Music Store has me hooked. As someone who has on occasion spent hours trying to get ONE SONG from Gnutella, I will gladly pay $0.99+tax for instant gratification.

I gave up on using my existing Apple ID password, but iTunes only just a moment ago even allowed me to login while changing it. Though now that I’m in, I can say that it’s really, really, slick. I don’t usually wax rhapsodic about Apple stuff (I leave that to others .. though friends may cite their misguided perception of my enthusiasm), but this system has GOT to be the Next Big Thing in the music industry.

I won’t be buying much ’till they add a bunch more Christian labels (Rocketown Records, Spring House Music Group, etc.). There’s only one Michael W. Smith track, and that’s from a ‘Various Artists’ CD. No Robin Mark, no Fernando Ortega, no FFH or Clay Crosse. I did find ample DCTalk and Steven Curtis Chapman, though.
