Steve is of course quoting Irwin Springer in Adventures in Odyssey (http://www.aiohq.com/) episode #33, “The Day Independance Came”. Irwin has traveled back to July 4, 1776, and says this every time he realizes he’s talking to an important historical figure, such as Ben Franklin or George Washington. A classic episode, and one of my early favorites.
