Two jokes
Two jokes told by me that Mom thought were funny. Laugh along with her — or don’t.
Joke #1
Me: “How many ADD/ADHD kids does it take to screw in a light bulb?”
Mom: “How many?”
Me: “Let’s go ride bikes!”
In the interest of ‘getting’ the joke, it should be noted that I was an extremely hyperactive/ADD child until I was about 12 years old. I still exhibit some traits, most notably that of bouncing my knee(s) when I sit at a desk. It used to drive Sam to distraction when I still sat next to him at PA.net, because it would shake his computer monitor.
Joke #2
Me: “Knock, knock.”
Ben (12) & Sarah (8): “Who’s there?”
Me: “Control Freak. Now you say ‘Control freak who?’” (exits room quickly)
This was used to break up Ben & Sarah’s quarrel about who was a control freak, although perhaps neither of them knew what one really was. They might have, though. They’re smart.
I think both of these came from some Reader’s Digest or another.
