This morning’s present-a-thon resulted in a couple of books, a coffeepot (of my very own), a poster, some more Pringles, and a very nice shirt. I think I gave just about as much as I got, so that all balanced out well. But that’s not what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.
And a little while ago, we had a wonderful Christmas dinner with turkey and stuffing and sauerkraut (basically a re-imagining of Thanksgiving dinner), all nine of us together. We’re now in the middle of a double-elimination pool tournament, and even Mom’s playing, for the first time ever. Fun family times. But that’s not what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.
But before we opened presents, Dad read from Matthew and Luke how an infant King rocked His little corner of the world. And He didn’t stop there.
Merry Christmas.

A little coffeepot sounds fun. =) I can buy you a little bag of Starbucks coffee to use in your office.

Don’t you mean the little corner of HIS world.
Merry Christmas!
