Some Carolina Gas Stations Run Short On Fuel We filled up tonight to the tune of $3.29/gallon. Gas was $2.59/gallon yesterday.

Janali filled up this morning @ $2.99/gallon. Yesterday it was $.50 cheaper! I think it has to do with ALL the news stations in this country saying — hey watch out fuel prices are possibly gonna go up! So of course the stations take advantage of that and boost prices to align with what the news said and then take the profit. I don’t know, maybe I am crazy.

Nope, I think you are right on, Sam. That’s exactly what it is here.
At work, everyone was rushing around saying “we are going to be out of gas!” And so immediately after work, everyone rushed to their cars and sat in the Very Long Lines to get gas. And those driving by saw the long lines and thought “oh my word! I’d better get gas!!”
Sigh. I should buy a bike.
