What a friend is not

Posted on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 in Life

A friend is not someone who, upon discovering the action that bugs you the most of all, attempts it upon you as much as possible. Instead, if you ask a friend not to do that to you any more, they understandingly abstain, instead of laughing at your discomfort and embarrassment.

It’s both a personal space issue and a respect issue. I’m usually an easy-going kind of guy, but there’s one thing I can’t stand people doing. It’s not professional, and it would fit better in a 6th grade classroom than an office.
